How We Cover 58 Competitions Across 221 Countries

This is the full index of what the guide follows: 58 competitions in eleven sports, each with its own page of TV channels and streaming services for every country where it is shown. Between them they reach 221 countries. Football makes up more than half the list, from the Premier League, LaLiga and the Champions League to the Brasileirão, the J1 League and the Indian Super League.

Football is split into five groups: International, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia and the Middle East. The Africa group goes beyond the European leagues that fill African screens, with home competitions such as Nigeria's NPFL, the Ghana Premier League and South Africa's Betway Premiership. The other sports keep it simple, with tennis split into Grand Slams and tours, and boxing grouped by promotion.

Each name in the list leads to its competition page. A flag beside it marks the home or host country, the EU flag marks UEFA's competitions and the EuroLeague, and a globe marks other international events, from the Copa Libertadores to the UFC. Rights are listed one season at a time, so a league moves to its new broadcasters when a fresh deal begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find a league on Footybite?

Look under its sport on this page, where every competition is grouped and linked, or use the green Where to Watch button in the header, which walks you from sport to competition to country. Each competition page then opens with what is on where you are, and you can switch country there.

Which sport has the most competitions?

Football, with 34 of the 58. Tennis is next with six: the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, the US Open and the ATP and WTA tours. Cricket has four, basketball and boxing three each, motorsport and rugby two, and American football, baseball, ice hockey and MMA one apiece: the NFL, MLB, the NHL and the UFC.

Does the guide include African leagues?

Yes, nine African competitions. Football has the NPFL in Nigeria, the Ghana Premier League, the Kenyan Premier League, South Africa's Betway Premiership, Botola Pro in Morocco and the Egyptian Premier League, plus the Africa Cup of Nations and the CAF Champions League. Basketball adds the Basketball Africa League.

Are there pages for South American and Asian football?

Yes. South America has the Brasileirão, Argentina's Liga Profesional, the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana, while MLS and Liga MX cover North America. The Asia and Middle East group holds the J1 League, the Indian Super League, the Saudi Pro League, Australia's A-League Men and the AFC Champions League Elite.

Why isn't my league listed?

We only add a competition once its broadcasters can be confirmed country by country, so some leagues are not here yet. If yours is missing, its sport page can still help, since the services listed there often carry other leagues of that sport too, and the football page is a good start for domestic leagues.

Is every competition shown in all 221 countries?

No. Global events travel furthest, so the Six Nations, for example, has a broadcaster in 162 countries in our data. A domestic league such as the Ghana Premier League may only have a home broadcaster. Each competition's country table shows exactly where it is on, and the countries with no broadcaster are simply left out.

What season does each competition page cover?

One season at a time, named on the page. European football leagues are on 2026/27, the NFL, MLB and Formula 1 on 2026, and events whose 2026 edition has finished, such as the Grand Slams, the IPL and the Six Nations, already show 2027. When a new deal is announced, the page moves to the next season's broadcasters.

Which competitions are free to watch?

It depends on the country, and each competition page marks its free-to-air channels. Rugby is a good example: the Rugby World Cup is free in 12 countries, including the UK on ITV and Australia on Nine, and the Six Nations is free in five, among them Ireland on RTÉ and Virgin Media Television.

Can I see matches for a competition on this page?

This page is an index, so it lists competitions rather than fixtures. For games, open a competition or use Live and Upcoming Matches on the home page, which shows the week's fixtures by sport and takes you from each game to its broadcasters in your country.
