About Footybite

Footybite is a free guide to where live sport is shown, legally, in every country. We list the TV channels and streaming services for every big league and tournament, country by country, with a link to each one.

We don't host, embed or link to streams, and we never link to pirate streaming sites. When people search for one of them, we tell them honestly what happened to it, why we advise against using its copies, and where the same games are shown legally.

Where the Data Comes From

Broadcast rights are sold league by league and country by country. We take them from the competitions' own lists of broadcast partners and from broadcasters' announcements, and cross-check them with the press. Every competition page shows the season it covers.

We check every competition before its season starts and again during the season. Rights change, so a channel can be out of date for a few days after a new deal.

Pirate Streaming Sites

Free streaming sites show matches without the rights holders' permission. Their copies are run by strangers who earn money from pop-ups, fake play buttons and redirects, and many of them carry malware. We actively discourage using them and point every visitor to a legal alternative instead: a streaming service, a TV channel or a betting site that streams the match.

To answer the question people ask most, whether a site is down, we check the addresses of popular free streaming sites every day (addresses that were down, once a week) and note whether they load, redirect, have been seized or are down. Addresses appear as plain text so nobody lands on them by accident; we never link to them.
