Where to Watch Liga MX in United States

Because each club sells its own home games. When Chivas play at home in Mexico the match is on Prime Video, while other clubs have deals with Televisa, TV Azteca, FOX or ESPN. Check which team is at home first, then follow that club's broadcaster, and the same logic applies to the US networks.

Stream it. ViX carries the matches from the TelevisaUnivision clubs, Peacock has the Telemundo games and FOX One streams the FOX Deportes matches, so the three services together cover the whole league. With an antenna, Univision and Telemundo also show matches free.

Televisa and TV Azteca show selected matches free over the air, taken from the clubs whose home rights they hold. Every other game is on pay TV or streaming, through TUDN, FOX, ESPN, ViX, FOX One, Prime Video or Disney+, depending on the home club.

In Mexico, Chivas home matches stream on Prime Video, so Chivas fans need Amazon's service for about half of each tournament. Away games follow the home side's broadcaster, which means a Chivas trip to another stadium can be on Televisa, TV Azteca, FOX or ESPN instead.

Eighteen: América, Atlante, Atlas, Atlético San Luis, Cruz Azul, Guadalajara, Juárez, León, Monterrey, Necaxa, Pachuca, Puebla, Pumas UNAM, Querétaro, Santos Laguna, Tigres UANL, Tijuana and Toluca. Atlante returned after 12 years in place of Mazatlán, and there is no relegation, so the same clubs play the Clausura 2027.

The Apertura 2026 started in mid-July, and after 17 rounds the Liguilla is played in late November and December, finishing with a two-legged final. The Clausura 2027 then starts in January and ends in May, with its own Liguilla and its own champion.

Since the play-in was scrapped for the Apertura 2026, the top eight after 17 rounds go straight into the quarterfinals. Every round, including the final, is played over two legs, with the higher-placed team at home in the second leg. If a quarterfinal or semifinal ends level on aggregate, the better-placed club goes through.

Most matches are played from Friday to Sunday evening, Mexico City time, which stays at UTC-6 all year since Mexico dropped daylight saving time. That suits viewers across the Americas, but an evening kick-off in Mexico lands after midnight in Spain and in the small hours in West Africa.

ViX is the only service that streams Liga MX in both Mexico and the US, carrying the matches of the TelevisaUnivision clubs. In Mexico, FOX One, Prime Video and Disney+ stream the other clubs' home games, and in the US, Peacock and FOX One fill the gaps.

Coverage outside the two home markets is thin. In Spain, the betting site Sportium streams Liga MX: place a bet and watch Mexican football from Madrid or Seville. Elsewhere, fans with a ViX, Peacock or FOX One account from home can sign in through a VPN; NordVPN has servers in both Mexico and the US, and its connections are quick enough for HD and 4K streams.
