Where to Watch the WTA Tour in United States

Tennis Channel is the US home of the WTA Tour, showing WTA 1000 and WTA 500 events through the season. At the combined events, such as Indian Wells, Miami and Cincinnati, it covers the women's draw alongside the men's, so one channel follows both tours on those weeks.

WTA TV is the women's tour's own streaming service. In countries such as Canada, Portugal, the Netherlands, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Pakistan, it sits alongside DAZN as one of the main ways to stream WTA matches. In Australia, Stan Sport and beIN SPORTS CONNECT fill that role instead.

In a few countries. The BBC shows the British grass-court events free in the UK, SuperTennis covers WTA tournaments free in Italy, TVNZ has free matches in New Zealand and 1TV carries the tour in Georgia. For the rest of the world, women's tennis is on sports channels or streaming services.

Sky Sports and NOW show the WTA Tour in the UK, and Tennis Channel also has matches. In June, the BBC takes the British grass-court events free on TV and BBC iPlayer, which gives fans a run of women's tennis on free TV before the Championships begin.

Canada has several options: TSN, TVA Sports and Sportsnet share the TV coverage, and DAZN and WTA TV stream the tour. The National Bank Open, held in Montreal or Toronto each summer, is the home WTA 1000 event and falls in the North American summer swing.

Yes. SuperSport carries WTA events across sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Ghana, and DStv Stream lets you follow them online. A large share of tournaments are in Europe and the Gulf, so matches fall at friendly hours in African time zones.

Women's tennis gets going in the opening days of January in Australia and New Zealand, moves to the Middle East in February and the Sunshine Double of Indian Wells and Miami in March, then turns to clay, grass and the North American hard courts. The autumn in Asia leads to the WTA Finals in November.

Tencent Sports, Youku and Migu all stream WTA matches in China. Interest peaks during the autumn, when the China Open in Beijing and the Wuhan Open are played close together in late September and October, with Chinese players competing in front of home crowds.

Many do. Women's matches show up in the live video of bet365, Betano, Betclic and Superbet: place a bet and watch WTA matches without limits. The bet-and-watch player above sorts these bookmakers by country, so you only see the ones that serve you. 18+.

Services such as DAZN, NOW and Stan Sport check your location, so leaving the country can interrupt a stream mid-match. A VPN server back in Canada, the UK or Australia solves that, and NordVPN works with DAZN, keeping the picture sharp through a long three-set match.
