Crictime
Crictime is a free live cricket streaming name that was already on crictime.com in 2009, known for IPL and international matches. It now lives on many mirror domains, several claiming to be the real one, with no operator named and Indian blocking orders since 2014.

Is Crictime Still Working?
Unclear. Something called Crictime has been streaming cricket for at least seventeen years, but no operator has ever been named, so nobody can say whether the sites using the name today descend from the crictime.com that MediaNama wrote about in 2009.
The name is now spread over many endings at once. crictime.com, crictime.is, crictime.ch, crictime.nl and crictime.in are all reported, along with crictime.it.com, a page that presents itself as the genuine site and admits such portals rotate mirror domains. Which of them, if any, share an owner is unknown. India has kept the brand on its blocking lists since a 2014 order covering crictime.com, crictime.ws and mycrictime.com, and a Delhi High Court judgment in October 2024 added the subdomain ad.crictime.com.
Our checker tries all eight Crictime domains each day and posts the outcome beside each. For the IPL or a Test series, the apps and channels up top are the steadier route.
What Happened to Crictime
- In an article on cricket piracy, MediaNama named crictime.com among free websites for watching live cricket.
- A Delhi High Court John Doe order of 28 July in Star India's India–England series case (CS(OS) 2243/2014) listed crictime.com, crictime.ws, mycrictime.com and two other Crictime-named sites among 107 blocked websites.
- A Delhi High Court judgment of 29 October in Star India's case against rogue cricket sites (CS(COMM) 688/2023) listed the subdomain ad.crictime.com in an annex of sites to be blocked, according to WheresTheMatch.
Is Crictime Safe?
No. With Crictime the trouble starts before the first ad: so many mirrors claim to be the genuine one that you can't tell an old cricket site from a newer lookalike such as Cricktime or Crictimes. Whoever runs the page you land on, its income comes from ad networks nobody vets, and on cricket sites that usually means a pop-up or new tab on every tap, play buttons that lead to adverts, adult (18+) banners and requests to add a browser extension or a media player app.
Some of those downloads carry malware. Other prompts ask permission to send notifications, then fill your phone with fake virus warnings and prize alerts. The worst are forms that promise an HD feed in exchange for your card number or a scan of an Aadhaar card or passport.
If you typed card details into one, call your bank today and ask for the card to be blocked and reissued. If you uploaded an ID photo, watch for loans or SIM cards opened in your name.
The same matches, minus the guesswork: streaming apps and betting sites.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Crictime?
Crictime is a free cricket streaming brand that dates back to at least 2009, when MediaNama listed crictime.com among sites for watching matches without paying. It is known for IPL and international games, in English, and is followed mostly from India and Pakistan, plus the UK and the wider diaspora. No operator has ever been named. Today the name runs on many mirror domains, and Indian courts ordered its addresses blocked in 2014 and again in 2024.
Which Crictime site is the real one?
None can be proven to be. Several mirrors call themselves the genuine Crictime, and with no named owner and endings as varied as .is, .ch and .nl, that claim is only words on a page. The safest assumption is that every Crictime address is a separate copy with its own unknown operator.
Why is Crictime blocked in India?
Because Star India has named it in court twice. A John Doe order from the Delhi High Court on 28 July 2014, during the India-England series, blocked 107 websites including crictime.com, crictime.ws and mycrictime.com. A judgment on 29 October 2024 put ad.crictime.com in an annex of rogue cricket sites to be blocked.
Why does Crictime have so many addresses?
Every block removes one and a replacement takes its place. The 2014 Indian order alone named five Crictime-style sites, among them crictimelivecricket.com and crictime.livecricwatch.co, and at least one mirror says openly that it rotates domains to stay reachable. Our list at the top tracks the endings people still search for.
Is Crictime legal?
No. Crictime shows matches that broadcasters such as Star India paid to carry, and it does so without their permission. That is the reason its domains sit on Indian blocking lists, and why any address can vanish in the middle of an innings.
Is Crictime connected to Hotstar?
No. "Crictime hotstar" is simply something people type while hunting for a match, and Crictime has no tie to Hotstar or to any broadcaster. Star India, a broadcaster, is in fact the company that took Crictime domains to court in 2014 and 2024.
Where can I watch the IPL without Crictime?
Who shows the Big Bash and The Hundred?
Each league has its own page with every broadcaster sorted by country: Big Bash League and The Hundred. Free-to-air channels are shown where a country has them, so you can see at a glance whether you need a subscription at all.
Does a VPN make Crictime safe?
It doesn't. A VPN encrypts your traffic, yet the page's ads, redirects and download prompts still arrive untouched. Use one for what it does well: watching the cricket package you pay for at home while you're overseas, or opening a service sold in another country, with streams up to 4K.
What else do people call Crictime?
It turns up in searches as cric time, crick time, cricktime, crictimes and critime, and with prefixes such as mbcrictime and newcrictime. Cricktime and Crictimes are also used by lookalike sites with no known link to the rest.
