Instead a few same-name domains carry on, led by viperplay.net, viperplay.org, viper-play.net and viperplayhd.com, each with only a few thousand visits in September 2026, most of them from Spain. viper-play.net is most popular in Portugal, and viperplay.futbol looks more like a football news site that may not stream at all.
Two waves of enforcement cut it down. In May 2025 a Paris court made major VPN providers block viperplay.net, viperplay.online and viperplayhd.com, part of a list of about 200 sports streaming domains. Then in June 2026, during the World Cup, viperplay.net and viper-play.org were among the domains traced in the US seizures known as Operation Offsides. Is Viper Play Safe?
Not in any way you can check. Nobody knows who runs the Viper Play domains, and their only income is the advertising wrapped around the player. Small traffic doesn't change that.
Expect at least some of this:
- a click on the video that opens a new tab instead
- a fake HD or play button laid over the picture
- a push for some app or add-on you never wanted
- adult ads you didn't ask for
The worse cases cost more: downloads with malware inside, an "allow" prompt that later sends fake security warnings, and forms that want a card number or a passport scan. An Android listing called Viper Play Net Fútbol TV also exists, with no confirmed link to the site, so it deserves no more trust than any random download.
