StrikeOut is a link aggregator that collects browser streams of football, US leagues, cricket and fight nights, usually with several feeds per event. It has used strikeout.im, strikeout.nu and other endings, and courts in Belgium, France and Florida have since ordered blocks.

Is StrikeOut Still Working?

Possibly, but nobody can confirm it. StrikeOut has never announced a shutdown, yet by mid-2026 its main address, strikeout.im, sat under two European court orders, and in July 2026 the brand was added to a Florida federal court injunction won by TelevisaUnivision. Registrars suspended many of the domains that injunction targeted.

The site has hopped before. In September 2023 Reddit users watched strikeout.nu forward to strikeout.ws, which then stopped resolving; one of them had used StrikeOut for about four years. Belgian ISPs have had to block strikeout.im since a June 2024 ruling for DAZN's Eleven Sports, and a Paris court told five VPN companies to block it for the 2025/26 French season. The oldest address on record, strikeout.mobi, appeared in a 2018 complaint from US sports leagues. Our checker visits each one daily, and the labels at the top show its latest result.

What Happened to StrikeOut

  1. In a submission to the US government, major US sports leagues listed strikeout.mobi among Switzerland-linked sites and services contributing to sports piracy.
  2. Users on Reddit's r/Piracy reported that strikeout.nu redirected to strikeout.ws and then stopped resolving, at the same time as other sports streaming domains went down after a Delhi High Court order; no source confirms Strikeout was named in that order.
  3. A Brussels court ordered Belgian ISPs to block about 90 sports streaming sites at the request of DAZN's Eleven Sports Network, including strikeout.im.
  4. A Paris court ordered ProtonVPN, NordVPN, CyberGhost, Surfshark and ExpressVPN to block strikeout.im and 12 other domains for the 2025/26 season at the request of the French league LFP.
  5. Mexican broadcaster TelevisaUnivision added Strikeout, RBTV, Roja Directa and other brands to a Florida federal court injunction, under which registrars suspended many targeted domains.

Is StrikeOut Safe?

No, and nothing on your side makes it safe. StrikeOut claims to host no video: every event page points to several feeds that other people embed, so a single fixture can bring three or four embedded players from different sources, each with its own ad network and its own tricks.

Hopping between those feeds is where trouble usually starts:

  • a new tab or pop-up with each click on a player
  • a fake play icon laid over the video that opens an ad
  • a request to add a browser extension or install an app before the stream begins
  • 18+ ads, dating pop-ups included, that open without a click

Worse outcomes are rarer but real: a download carrying malware, an Allow prompt that later floods the phone with fake alerts, or a form wanting a card number or a passport photo to unlock HD. If you clicked Allow on one of those prompts, open your browser's site settings, remove StrikeOut and any unknown site from notifications, then run a malware scan.

What Is StrikeOut?

Other sports streaming domains were dropping at the same moment after a Delhi High Court order, though nothing shows StrikeOut was on that order. The name strikeout.nu still gets searched and still shows up in 2024 lists of VIPRow alternatives.

Is StrikeOut the same as VIPRow?

No. They are separate brands, but StrikeOut keeps appearing on lists of VIPRow alternatives, and strikeout.im and viprow.nu were both in the Belgian blocking order of June 2024. VIPRow has its own page, which also covers VIPLeague and VIPBox.

Is there a StrikeOut app?

No StrikeOut app is known; the site runs in a phone or desktop browser. Any APK or TV-box app passed around under the name comes from strangers, and that kind of file is a common way to get malware onto a device. Legal streaming services put their apps in the regular stores.

Does a VPN make StrikeOut safe?

No. In France, five big providers, NordVPN among them, are under court orders to block strikeout.im for the 2025/26 season, and even where a VPN connects, it can't stop the pop-ups or fake forms. Its proper job is with paid services: your home subscription stays watchable from a hotel abroad, and a foreign service opens as well, with streams up to 4K.
