Streameast
Streameast is a no-cost hub for US sports streams, from NFL and NBA games to UFC fights, run by an operator called Quick. An Egyptian copycat network used the name until its 2025 shutdown, while the original kept going on backup domains.

The original Streameast is still running, as far as anyone can tell. It lost thestreameast.to, streameast.io, streameast.xyz and streameast.live to a US Homeland Security seizure in August 2024, then carried on from backups it switched on that same month. In October 2026, four of them, streameast.ph, streameast.ms, streameast.ps and streameast.fi, still pointed to a single Cloudflare account, while streameast.co and streameast.sh led to seizure servers.
Don't confuse that site with the network that borrowed its name. A ring run from Egypt traded as Streameast across about 80 domains and logged 1.6 billion visits in a year before ACE and Egyptian authorities closed it in September 2025; in July 2026 a Cairo court gave two of its operators two years in prison. Fresh lookalikes still get caught: Operation Offsides took istreameast.app and streameast100.com in June 2026 and streameast24.net in July.
Our checker visits every Streameast address daily, so the labels above reflect today. Tonight's game is also on legal services here.
What Happened to Streameast
- US Homeland Security Investigations seized thestreameast.to, streameast.io, streameast.xyz and streameast.live under a Louisiana warrant; the site moved to backups such as streameast.co, streameast.ph and streameast.sk.
- ACE took over Streameast clone domains, including streameast.to with more than 15 million monthly visits.
- During the Super Bowl, US authorities seized dozens of Streameast-named domains such as streameast.co, gostreameast.live and mystreameast.app.
- ACE and Egyptian authorities shut down an 80-domain network trading as Streameast, with 1.6 billion visits in a year; the original operator said his site was not affected.
- The original team briefly reclaimed streameast.xyz after the seized domain expired; by 2 October it showed a seizure banner again.
- istreameast.app, streameast100.com, streameasthd.com and streameastv1.com were seized in the first wave of the US 'Operation Offsides' crackdown.
- The final batch of 'Operation Offsides' seizures included streameaste.cc, streameast24.net and streameastlinks.com.
- Cairo's Economic Court sentenced two operators of the shut-down copycat network to two years in prison and fines of EGP 5.5 million each.
Is Streameast Safe?
Not reliably, and the name itself is part of the problem. With an original, a jailed copycat ring and dozens of seized lookalikes all called Streameast, a search result can't tell you whose page you are about to open. None of them answer for the ads they run, and that holds for the real one too.
What those ads tend to do:
- open new tabs, often adult (18+) ones, the moment you touch the player
- cover the video with fake play or "HD" buttons
- offer a Streameast app or a codec download, a frequent route for malware
- ask for notification access that later fills your screen with scam alerts
- lead to forms asking for card numbers or a scan of your passport
If something odd got installed during a game, uninstall it, run the security scan built into your phone or computer, and change the passwords you use most.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Streameast?
Streameast streams US league games for free: the NFL and NBA first, then MLB, NHL, UFC and boxing, with some football. Its operator goes by the name Quick, and LeBron James was reported to be among its users. The site survived a US domain seizure in August 2024 by moving to backups, while a separate copycat network that used its name was shut down in 2025. Today the original and a crowd of lookalikes share the name.
Who runs Streameast?
The original is run by someone known only as Quick, who has made public statements to TorrentFreak about how legal sport is priced. The large clone network was a different crew, based in Egypt; two of its operators were sentenced in Cairo in July 2026 to two years in prison and fines of EGP 5.5 million each.
What was the Streameast copycat network?
It was a ring of about 80 domains, streameast.app among them, that passed itself off as Streameast and racked up 1.6 billion visits over twelve months. ACE and Egyptian authorities shut it down in September 2025, and the original operator said his site was not affected. A year earlier, in December 2024, ACE had already taken over another clone, streameast.to, with more than 15 million monthly visits.
What happened to thestreameast.to?
Homeland Security Investigations seized it in August 2024 under a warrant from Louisiana, together with streameast.io, streameast.xyz and streameast.live. The site then moved to backup domains such as streameast.ph and streameast.sk, and the old address is no longer one it controls.
Did Streameast get streameast.xyz back?
Briefly. When the seized domain expired in September 2025, the original team registered it again, but by 2 October 2025 it showed a government seizure banner once more. So streameast.xyz is not an address the site can rely on, whatever search results suggest.
Is Streameast legal?
No. It streams NFL, NBA and other games without licenses from the leagues or broadcasters. That is the basis for the Louisiana seizure warrant of August 2024, the Super Bowl sweep of February 2025 that took streameast.co, gostreameast.live and mystreameast.app, and the Operation Offsides seizures during the 2026 World Cup.
Is there a Streameast app?
Not one you can trust. Apps and domains such as mystreameast.app and istreameast.app were seized by US authorities in 2025 and 2026, and files offered as a Streameast app come from unknown people. The services shown above all have their own apps for phones and TVs.
Where can I watch US sports without Streameast?
What else do people call Streameast?
You'll see it typed as stream east, the streameast, thestreameast, streameast live, streameasts and streameast app, or simply as an address like streameast.to. A search for any of these returns the original's backups and many unrelated copies side by side.
