Unknown, and it has been that way for years. No SportLemon domain today can be traced to the people who started it, and none of the reports ever named them.
The trail goes back to October 2014. That month City of London Police had frombar.com suspended, yet the family stayed reachable on sportlemon.tv, by then called its former main domain, as well as fromsport.com and fromhot.com, drawing well over a million visitors a month at the time. Since then the name has spread across many endings. US authorities seized sportlemon.app, sportlemon.dev, sportlemons.app and sportlemons.dev in February 2025, and in May 2025 a Paris court told major VPN providers to block sportlemons.to, sportlemons.tv, sportlemonx.com and five more at the request of Canal+.
Each address at the top shows what our own test found today, so a dead or blocked ending is easy to spot. Tonight's tennis or rugby is on these services where you live.
What Happened to SportLemon
- City of London Police's PIPCU had the domain frombar.com of the Sportlemon sports streaming 'franchise' suspended; the site stayed reachable on sportlemon.tv, fromsport.com, fromhot.com and other domains.
- The site, also known as Fromhot and Frombar, was reported to have blocked visitors from the UK.
- US authorities seized sportlemon.app, sportlemon.dev, sportlemons.app and sportlemons.dev among more than 200 sports streaming domains.
- A Paris court ordered major VPN providers to block about 200 domains on Canal+'s application, including sportlemons.to, sportlemons.tv, sportlemon.be, sportlemon.info, sportlemon.net, sportlemonx.com, sportlemone.top and sportlemont.org.
Is SportLemon Safe?
Not reliably, and the crowd of near-identical names makes it worse. With spellings like sportlemone.top, sportlemont.org and sportlemonx.com in circulation, you can't tell which SportLemon you've landed on or who set it up. Each one pays its way with ads that nobody vets.
Expect the usual tricks of a link page. A click on any match opens a second tab, a play icon turns out to be an ad, and a box insists you add a video plugin or a browser extension first. Adult banners are common. The worse cases go further: malware bundled into those installs, a notification prompt that later floods your desktop with fake virus warnings, or a sign-up form that wants card details or a scan of your ID.
If you clicked 'allow' on notifications, open your browser's site settings, remove that permission and run a malware scan. For the same football, tennis and rugby, pick a legal option.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is SportLemon?
SportLemon is a free link site that points to live streams of football, tennis, rugby and boxing. In 2014 it was reported as one 'franchise' with Frombar, Fromhot and Fromsport, and TorrentFreak counted well over a million monthly visitors across it that year. Its English-language pages served UK viewers until the site was reported to have blocked UK visitors in October 2014. Nobody has been named as its operator, and today the name survives as a spread of lookalike domains.
Is SportLemon the same as Frombar and Fromsport?
Reports from 2014 treated them as one family: when police suspended frombar.com, the same site stayed up on sportlemon.tv, fromsport.com and fromhot.com. Whether the current domains still share an owner is not known. FromSport has its own page with its present addresses.
What happened to frombar.com?
PIPCU, the City of London Police unit for intellectual property crime, had it suspended in October 2014. The site stayed reachable on sister domains, and around the same time it was reported to shut out people connecting from the UK. frombar.tv and fromhot.com are still among the addresses people try.
What is the new SportLemon address?
There isn't one anyone can verify. New sportlemon and sportlemons domains keep turning up, from sportlemon.be and sportlemon.net to sportlemone.top, but none can be linked to the original operators. We print the names people look for, with today's result, as plain text only.
Why are so many SportLemon domains seized or blocked?
It links to broadcasts without the rights holders' permission, so its domains are a standing target. In February 2025 four .app and .dev addresses went down among more than 200 sports streaming domains seized in the US. Three months later a French judge made VPN providers block eight more at Canal+'s request.
Does a VPN get around the SportLemon block?
Not with the big providers in France: the May 2025 Paris order told them to block the SportLemon domains on their own networks. A VPN never made the site safe anyway. Its real job is keeping a paid sports app working when you travel, or opening a service from another country, in up to 4K.
Where can I watch tennis and rugby instead?
Where can I watch football without SportLemon?
Football is sold league by league and country by country. The football page lists today's games with their channels, and the Premier League page shows who carries every match in your country, including the big weekend kick-offs.
What else do people call SportLemon?
Searches include sport lemon, sportlemons, sportlemon tv, lemon sport and the typo sportlemmon, plus 'from sport lemon', which blends it with its sister name. Longtime visitors also know it as Frombar or Fromhot, or simply by the address sportlemon.tv.
